The aim of the Union is to develop and encourage fencing and to promote and conduct amateur fencing championships within Kent.
Georgia Silk - Year 9 was invited to attend the Thanet Sport Awards held at the Margate Winter Gardens on 19th November. Georgia was short-listed for the Young Sports Person of the Year 2015 and won the award against some very strong nominations.
Congratulations to Peter and Janet Huggins.
Peter Huggins has been unanimously elected by the Executive of the IWAS ( International wheelchair and amputee sport) fencing SEMI commission to be their Chairman.
Janet Huggins has been selected to attend the Rio Olympics next Summer as a member of the FIE SEMI Commission.
A great honour for both of them as recognition for all of their hard work for the sport.

You are invited to experience the thrill of Wheelchair Fencing at its best! Watch how France and Great Britain battle it out in 2 days of competition, with some of the World's top fencers, commemorating the Battle of Agincourt.
The county has a set of plastic fencing equipment - 20 plastic swords and 20 plastic masks, which are suitable for taster sessions to promote fencing within the County. This equipment is available for any Kent club to borrow when required. If you wish to borrow the equipment please contact Jane Clayton.
