The aim of the Union is to develop and encourage fencing and to promote and conduct amateur fencing championships within Kent.
Attention all Epeeists in Kent.
A new epee open series is to begin this season sponsored by the brewers Harveys.
We have set up a photo gallery linked to the Kent website. We would like to receive any good photos of Kent fencers taking part in any competitions, receiving medals/trophies etc. Please send them to Keith Silk together with names of fencers and events.
The agenda for the County AGM has been published and is to be held on the 15th October 2014. If anyone is interested in standing for any of the committee positions, please let Jane Clayton know, together with a proposer and seconder. If you are able to attend the AGM please let Jane Clayton know so we have some idea of numbers.
To all competition organisers:
Can you please use the sample competition notice and entry form from now on. You can find them on our Documents page.
For further information about courses and events have a look at the South East Fencing Hub Calendar.
The county has a set of plastic fencing equipment - 20 plastic swords and 20 plastic masks, which are suitable for taster sessions to promote fencing within the County. This equipment is available for any Kent club to borrow when required. If you wish to borrow the equipment please contact Jane Clayton.
